Melloy Ford is hiring aggressive, motivated Automotive Sales Consultants to join our sales team in Los Lunas, New Mexico.

If your idea of automotive sales is sitting at a desk waiting for the next customer to walk through the door, this is probably not the job for you.

We are looking for prospecting-minded salespeople who want to build a business, create opportunities, and sell cars.

At Melloy Ford, successful salespeople don't just wait for ups. They work the phones. They follow up with internet leads. They contact previous customers. They ask for referrals. They prospect. They use social media. They work their CRM. They create appointments.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for competitive, energetic people who:

• Are motivated by selling, winning, and making money

• Pick up the phone instead of waiting for something to happen

• Prospect consistently and aren't afraid to ask for the business

• Follow up aggressively with leads and unsold customers

• Build relationships that generate repeat and referral business

• Use text, email, phone, CRM tools, and social media to create opportunities

Automotive sales experience is preferred , but attitude, work ethic, competitiveness, and the willingness to prospect matter to us.

This Is NOT a Sit-and-Wait Sales Job

Melloy Ford provides inventory, advertising, internet leads, dealership traffic, tools, training, and management support.

But we expect our salespeople to create business too.

The people who succeed here aren't asking, "Whose up is it?"

They're asking, "Who can I sell a car to today?"

What You'll Do

As a Melloy Ford Automotive Sales Consultant, you'll:

• Sell new Ford cars, trucks, SUVs, and commercial vehicles

• Sell quality pre-owned vehicles

• Respond quickly to internet and phone leads

• Prospect for new customers

• Follow up with unsold showroom traffic

• Maintain an active customer database

• Generate repeat and referral business

• Schedule and confirm appointments

• Demonstrate vehicles and conduct test drives

• Work with sales management to structure and close deals

• Maintain professional follow-up after the sale
