Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own patient panel while also assisting with physician overflow to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide a wide range of clinical services including IUD placements, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, women’s wellness exams, and colposcopies (if trained).
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the physician team, emphasizing health education and preventative care.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for all patient documentation, ensuring accurate and efficient information management.
• Participate in the APC council, contributing to discussions that shape clinical practice and policy within the organization.
• Engage in ongoing training and leadership development opportunities to enhance your professional skills and career advancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant Certification and an unrestricted state medical license.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution, with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies preferred.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination, including compliance with any applicable state booster shot mandates prior to employment.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, effective communication, time management, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR systems is highly desirable.
