Business Development Manager

Siegfried seeks a Business Development Manager to lead proposal writing for cell and gene therapy clients. The role combines technical communication, market intelligence synthesis, and marketing collateral development to support business development initiatives in the rapidly expanding gene therapy sector.

Responsibilities

Own proposal writing process and lead client proposal preparation with cross-functional teams
Organize and synthesize market intelligence to inform business development strategy
Translate market needs into effective marketing materials and messaging frameworks
Maintain and develop corporate presentations, collateral, and website content
Support sales opportunity identification and customer interaction activities

Requirements

Technical expertise in viral vectors and understanding of development/manufacturing processes
Demonstrated experience writing complex proposals in biopharmaceutical or technical environments
Self-directed work style with ability to deliver independently with minimal supervision
Knowledge of cell and gene therapy market, trends, and customer needs
5+ years business development experience or 10+ years collaborating closely with BD teams
Marketing experience supporting positioning, messaging, and proposal development

Compensation: $130,000-$165,000 base
