Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Roanoke, Virginia. Our facility features advanced therapeutic equipment and a supportive atmosphere that fosters collaboration among healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with options for shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions through comprehensive assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans that align with individual recovery goals.
• Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions, ensuring each patient receives focused care in a supportive and encouraging environment.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation techniques and manual therapy modalities to promote healing and restore functional movement.
• Document patient progress meticulously using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate and updated records of treatments and outcomes.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices to optimize treatment effectiveness, adapt interventions as necessary, and continuously monitor patient responses.
• Educate patients on exercise regimens, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications that enhance their overall wellness and recovery journey.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Engage with patients to motivate them throughout their recovery process, cultivating a positive, therapeutic relationship.
• Stay informed of the latest research and developments in physical therapy to integrate new techniques and insights into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Body Holistics Rehab Center, you will work primarily with outpatient clients recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related ailments, and chronic pain conditions. Our facility attracts a wide array of patients, from athletes seeking rehabilitation post-injury to individuals managing post-surgical recovery or chronic health challenges. The emphasis is on empowering each patient to achieve their personal health and mobility goals.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proven experience in orthopedic outpatient care, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Mastery of various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy trends and evidence-based methods.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting focusing on sports injuries and post-operative care.
• Expertise in developing multi-faceted rehabilitation programs that incorporate strength training, flexibility, and functional exercises.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
