Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose musculoskeletal disorders, utilizing clinical evaluation techniques and evidence-based practices to create personalized treatment plans.

• Administer hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of modalities to alleviate pain and restore function.

• Design and implement rehabilitation programs specifically tailored for post-operative patients, athletes with sports injuries, and individuals suffering from chronic orthopedic conditions.

• Provide education and guidance to patients regarding injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and self-management strategies to enhance recovery.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, orthopedic specialists, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Document treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes meticulously, adhering to clinic protocols and maintaining compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic outpatient clients, including individuals recovering from surgery, athletes dealing with sports-related injuries, and patients managing chronic pain. Your interactions will focus on understanding their specific needs and tailoring treatment strategies to facilitate their recovery and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A current, unrestricted Virginia licensure as a Physical Therapist.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a patient-centered approach to care.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
