Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients referred by physicians, utilizing evidence-based practice to evaluate their needs and establish effective treatment plans.
• Implement tailored rehabilitation programs for various patient populations, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and neurological conditions, ensuring each program aligns with prescribed goals.
• Provide hands-on therapy that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education tailored to enhance recovery and improve function.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by fostering a welcoming environment for patients and their caregivers, ensuring they feel valued throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes through shared insights and innovative approaches, refining strategies based on progress and results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clinic predominantly serves a diverse patient population including individuals of all ages and backgrounds seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic and sports-related injuries, post-surgical recovery, as well as pediatric and neurologic conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
