Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide virtual therapy sessions to a minimum of 25 clients weekly, employing evidence-based practices tailored to individual needs.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address clients' mental health challenges.

• Utilize tools such as electronic health records (EHR) for documentation, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines.

• Engage in ongoing communication with clients to monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.

• Participate in regular team meetings and clinical supervision to enhance skills and receive peer support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on providing psychotherapy services to adolescents and young adults in school settings. You will address a myriad of mental health issues, with the goal of instilling resilience and coping strategies in your clients. Experience with diverse populations will be beneficial as you navigate the unique challenges faced by students, including those from minority backgrounds and the LGBTQIA+ community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active LCSW license in the state of New York.
\n
• A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience, particularly in a mental health setting.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Psychodynamic Therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience supporting the mental health needs of the LGBTQIA+ community.

• Familiarity with men's mental health issues.

• Clinical experience with minority and diverse populations.

• Professional malpractice insurance coverage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits, including health and life insurance, malpractice insurance, a wellness program, and administrative support for billing and insurance tasks. This allows you to focus solely on your clients.
