About the Role:

As a Nursing Scheduler and Social Services Assistant at Uniontown Nursing and Rehab, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal resource allocation

• Developing and implementing schedules to meet the needs of our therapy department

• Communicating with staff members, supervisors, and department managers to ensure seamless operational workflows

• Identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports related to staffing and scheduling

• Collaborating with the therapy department to ensure alignment with treatment plans and patient care goals

• Providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff members

• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to continually improve patient satisfaction and outcomes

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a relevant field preferred

• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on scheduling or operations

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff members, supervisors, and department managers

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
