Role Description The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing residential design-build projects from initial planning through final completion in the Springfield, Massachusetts Metropolitan Area. This full-time, hybrid role includes on-site coordination with designers, contractors, and vendors, as well as some work from home for scheduling, documentation, and communication. Day-to-day tasks include managing project timelines and budgets, coordinating logistics and deliveries, tracking materials and furnishings, and ensuring work meets design specifications and quality standards. The Project Manager will conduct site visits and inspections, resolve issues and change orders, and maintain clear, professional communication with clients and internal team members. This role also supports efficient expediting of orders and services to keep projects moving smoothly and minimize disruptions for clients. Qualifications Project management skills for planning, coordinating, and executing residential design-build or renovation projects. Expeditor and expediting skills to streamline orders, manage lead times, and ensure timely delivery of materials and furnishings. Logistics management skills to organize shipments, installations, and contractor schedules across multiple active projects. Inspection skills to verify completed work aligns with design intent, quality standards, and applicable codes or regulations. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through. Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with clients, designers, contractors, and vendors. Experience in interior design, construction, or related fields is highly beneficial. Proficiency with project management software and common office tools; ability to learn firm-specific systems.
