Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Certifications: CPR Certification required. Must-Have: Must be able to work on Christmas Day. Description: Independently performs diagnostic cardiac echocardiology procedures utilizing proper techniques and protocols. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with registry in the operation of equipment. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Cardiopulmonary Department. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform other cardiology procedures in other modalities based on departmental needs. May have on-call responsibilities.
