Position Overview Deeper Strength Counseling Services is searching for a compassionate and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our dedicated team on a full-time remote basis. In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in delivering inclusive and effective mental health care through telehealth services, empowering individuals to achieve mental wellness and resilience. Work Environment As a remote position, this role offers significant flexibility, allowing therapists to work in a comfortable setting while engaging with clients through telehealth platforms. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team that emphasizes a supportive and inclusive culture. Our work schedule is generally Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the understanding that some flexibility may be needed to accommodate the varied schedules of our patients. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of each patient’s unique experiences and challenges. Develop tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic interventions that consider the cultural and personal backgrounds of clients. Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to effectively address a wide range of mental health concerns and promote overall well-being. Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other allied professionals to ensure holistic treatment approaches for patients. Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during mental health emergencies, remaining calm and focused under pressure. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Actively engage in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance service delivery. Stay updated with the latest research, best practices, and cultural considerations relevant to mental health therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice is dedicated to serving a diverse patient population, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas. Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, coupled with demonstrated cultural competence in therapeutic practices. Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, utilizing culturally responsive and inclusive methodologies. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele. Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications. Commitment to ethical guidelines, maintaining professional boundaries, and safeguarding client confidentiality. Ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team, showcasing collaborative skills in a remote work environment. Preferred Experience At least two years of relevant experience providing mental health counseling in a therapeutic setting. Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention and support. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for remote therapy delivery. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year , commensurate with experience.
