Work Environment This position will be remotely based, providing flexibility for the right candidate to work from their own office space while engaging with patients and colleagues through telehealth platforms. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and addiction specialists, you will be an integral part of delivering coordinated and holistic care. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify the unique needs and recovery goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders. Design personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. Facilitate both individual counseling sessions and group therapy to foster peer support and understanding among participants. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care, ensuring all aspects of patient health are addressed. Respond promptly to crisis situations, offering support during substance-related emergencies and guiding patients through immediate recovery challenges. Educate patients and their families about the nature of addiction, recovery strategies, and available community resources. Maintain meticulous legal and ethical documentation while adhering to confidentiality standards. Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance treatment approaches. Stay informed about the latest research and trends in substance use disorder treatment to ensure the highest quality care for patients. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient population primarily consists of individuals struggling with substance use disorders, ranging from those in early recovery to individuals needing ongoing support. We serve a diverse demographic across Dallas, Texas, ensuring our services are culturally competent and reflective of the communities we serve. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas. In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders and recovery-oriented care practices. Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy in an addiction treatment context. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating an empathetic approach toward patients. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications. Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary health team. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically in mental health counseling or addiction recovery. Familiarity with evidence-based approaches to substance use disorder treatment and recovery. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with opportunities for performance bonuses.
