Machine Operator CNC

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in sheet metal fabrication, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: North Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $23.00

Shift: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm

What's the Job?

• Program, set up, and operate CNC Laser machines, preferably AMADA
• Communicate with production leads to meet demands and follow schedules
• Inspect production parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal operation
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years experience in programming and setup of CNC machines
• Ability to read and interpret 2D prints, 3D models, and work instructions
• Knowledge of sheet metal, nitrogen usage, and feed rates
• Ability to use basic measurement instruments to verify components meet requirements
• Excellent verbal communication skills and time management abilities
