Billing Manager, Transportation

Job Overview Vaco is partnering with a growing organization to hire a Billing Manager. This role is ideal for an experienced billing professional with a background in transportation or parcel billing who enjoys leading teams and driving process improvements. The selected candidate will oversee the weekly billing cycle, manage carrier invoice reconciliation, ensure billing accuracy, and partner with Accounting and Operations to support a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications 5+ years of billing or transportation accounting experience Leadership experience managing or mentoring a billing team Experience with weekly billing cycles and parcel billing Knowledge of carrier invoices, including freight charges, taxes, duties, surcharges, and fees Experience working with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS NetSuite experience required Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and data analysis Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Benefits The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
