Description of the role:
Preferred Care at Home of Monmouth and Ocean County is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team in Toms River, New Jersey. As a Caregiver, you will provide assistance and support to our clients in their homes, helping them with daily tasks and personal care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, companionship, and medication reminders
- Help clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
