Position Summary

As a Registered Nurse on our Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to a designated patient population while utilizing the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and evidence-based practices. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care that promotes optimal outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

Monitor and interpret telemetry data while responding appropriately to changes in patient condition

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment plans

Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards

Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and a culture of compassionate care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

Minimum of six (6) months of acute care nursing experience

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Work Environment & Schedule

Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Part-Time Position

Every Other Weekend Required

On-Site at Bartow Regional Medical Center

No Remote Work

No On-Call Requirements
