Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Rotating shifts may apply based on operational needs.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in a dynamic hospital setting. The role may involve floating to different units, including J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department, while caring for a similar patient population. The candidate must demonstrate critical thinking skills and a strong capacity for patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about care processes and health management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months permanent experience as a Registered Nurse in Med/Surg Tele.
• Active Ohio RN license or a multi-state compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• Certification in AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Travel experience is a plus.
