Registered Nurse – Med Surg / Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg/Oncology unit within a short-term acute care facility
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for oncology and medical-surgical patients
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition throughout the night shift

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of oncology nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Ability to submit all requested time off (RTO) at time of submittal
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
• 3 or more years of Med Surg nursing experience
