Laboratory Assistant I/Glasswasher (PRN/Remote/Temporary) - Cell Biology

Scheduled Hours 0 Position Summary Computational work and training-focused, using existing cryo-EM/cryo-ET datasets. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Cryo-ET data organization, tomogram inspection, membrane/vesicle annotation, particle picking, and basic analysis of Flotillin-positive vesicle morphology. This work will help us understand how Flotillin organizes membrane microdomains and shapes membrane curvature. Cryo-EM single-particle/helical reconstruction workflows, including micrograph inspection, particle picking, 2D classification, and comparison of fibril morphologies. This work will help characterize amyloid fibril structure and heterogeneity in disease-relevant brain samples.
