Qualifications:

• Associates degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant program or equivalent
• Active SLPA license or eligibility in Texas
• Prior experience working with school-aged children is desirable
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and caregivers
• Ability to implement therapy plans and document student progress effectively
• Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and compassion

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering high-quality therapy to students across K-12 settings
• Prepare materials, set up equipment, and support therapy sessions as outlined in student care plans
• Record and report student progress, contributing to IEP documentation as required
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate communication goals across classroom settings
• Attend relevant meetings, trainings, and engage in ongoing professional development
