Accounts Payable Coordinator Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous Accounts Payable, Accounting Clerk, Bookkeeping, or related office experience preferred
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and invoice management
- Experience in matching invoices to purchase orders preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and reconciliation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Coding invoices and matching invoices to purchase orders
- Ensuring invoices receive proper approvals before payment processing
- Coordinating with internal departments to obtain approvals and resolve discrepancies
- Researching and resolving purchase order and invoice issues
- Communicating with vendors regarding payment inquiries and account reconciliation
- Requesting supporting documentation as needed
- Maintaining accurate accounts payable records and documentation
- Filing, copying, and organizing financial documents
- Assisting with general clerical and administrative duties
- Supporting accounting and office operations as needed
- Maintaining accuracy while meeting established deadlines
