Structural Engineer, EI – 2+ Years

Naples, Fl | Full-Time | In Office

RDA Consulting Engineers is looking for a Structural Engineer, EI with 2+ years of structural design experience who is ready to grow alongside an experienced team of engineers and designers. This is not a role where you sit on the sidelines. You’ll contribute to custom residential and commercial projects, work directly with senior Professional Engineers, and continue developing the technical skills and judgment that will take your career to the next level.

What You'll Do

• Perform structural calculations and design for residential and commercial projects
• Work with wood, masonry, steel, and concrete structural systems
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents with designers and drafters
• Assist with coastal and pile-supported structural design
• Support site inspections and construction observation
• Respond to plan review comments
• Coordinate with architects, delegated engineers, and internal project teams
• Continue developing your technical expertise while working toward PE licensure

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Current EI/EIT certification
• 2+ years of structural design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A desire to learn, contribute, and take increasing ownership of your work

Even better if you have:

• Enercalc or Revit experience
• Coastal or high-end residential project experience
• Progress toward Florida PE licensure

Compensation and Benefits

$70,000–$85,000, depending on experience and licensure.
