Tagalog-English Bilingual Caregiver — Part-Time | $19–$21/hr

We are seeking compassionate, dependable Tagalog-English bilingual Caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care to clients throughout the San Diego area. This role includes designated assignments where fluent/conversational spoken Tagalog is needed to communicate effectively with clients and their families.

Our clients range from infants to older adults and may include individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, autism, or other special needs.

Service areas

Scripps Ranch, Tierrasanta, Mission Valley, Poway, Mira Mesa, Miramar, Serra Mesa, Ramona, and Rancho Bernardo.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and social engagement

• Assist with non-medical personal care and activities of daily living

• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and medication reminders

• Prepare meals; assist with grocery shopping and errands

• Perform light housekeeping

• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and team members in English and Tagalog

• Provide reliable, consistent care while supporting each client’s independence, comfort, and dignity

Qualifications

• Fluent spoken English and Tagalog required

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience

• Valid driver’s license

• Authorization to work in the United States

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, respectful, dependable approach to care

• Current California Home Care Aide Registry registration, TB test clearance, and CPR certification preferred; assistance is available for qualified candidates who need to complete these requirements

Schedule and pay

This is a part-time, in-person position. Day, night, and overnight shifts may be available. We offer flexible scheduling and opportunities to be matched with clients near you. Overtime may be available.

Pay is $19.00–$21.00 per hour , based on qualifications.
