Line Cook – Upscale Tavern RestaurantPosition Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our upscale tavern-style restaurant team. Our kitchen combines elevated comfort food with refined execution, focusing on quality ingredients, consistency, and genuine hospitality. • Prepare and execute menu items according to chef specifications and restaurant standards
• Maintain consistency, presentation, and quality during all service periods
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients
• Assist with prep work including sauces, proteins, vegetables, and daily mise en place
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, coolers, and kitchen equipment
• Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow kitchen staff during service
• Monitor product freshness and report inventory or prep needs to kitchen leadership
• Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture

• Previous line cook experience preferred, ideally in a high-volume or upscale casual restaurant
• Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
