Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of basic to moderate scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.Manage virtualized environments.Utilize your experience with Windows Server internals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.Utilize your experience with hardware RAID, hardware and software encryption and server management tools.Utilize your experience in data backup and restore, using industry best practice.Install and configure software applications requested by end users.Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.Obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.Travel required as business needs dictate to other US Domestic locations, up to 10% per year.Work full time, 100% Onsite position.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Windows and/or Linux experience.Experience in one of the following: Active Directory, VMware, networking administration experience.Qualifications We Prefer:An Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance.Experience with Containerization Technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, and Rancher.Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange.High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.What We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
