Accounts Receivable Accountant

Your role will be: Invoicing & Billing Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices in accordance with contract terms, purchase orders, and project milestones. Manage milestone billing for long‑term manufacturing projects, ensuring all required documentation (delivery reports, project approvals, shipping confirmations) is complete prior to billing. Verify pricing, quantities, freight terms, and tax requirements for all invoices. Maintain organized invoicing schedules and proactively follow up with project managers to ensure timely billing events. Financial Reporting & Compliance Maintain accurate records and support periodic audits. Support internal reporting requirements, including revenue forecasts and cash‑flow projections. Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and internal controls related to AR processes. Ensure state sales tax returns are filed in compliance with tax regulations. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with project managers, sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure accurate invoicing and resolution of issues. Work with credit/collections personnel to verify status of delinquent accounts. If this is you, come join us! Minimum of 5 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or project‑based environment. Experience with milestone billing or percentage‑of‑completion billing.
