Culinary Experience Team Lead As a Culinary Experience Team Lead (CETL) at Impact Kitchen you set the culinary standard high and ensure guests enjoy their experience through incredible food. You create delectable and consistent dishes for dine‑in and take‑out guests, support back‑of‑house operations, and partner with your Guest Experience counterparts on the team. You prepare a variety of beverages to high standards and in a quick turnaround. Core Responsibilities Leading and training the Culinary Experience Team Ensuring a best‑in‑class experience for new hires on their first day and during training Preparation, production and execution of menu items and food quality standards according to detailed recipes and instructions Operation and maintenance of dishwashing unit and dish‑cleaning areas Execute custodial duties as needed Receiving and storage of deliveries from commissary kitchen and third‑party suppliers Effective storage, management, and safe rotation (FIFO) of all products Cleaning, sanitation and maintenance of kitchen equipment and food production spaces Strict adherence to company, municipal and provincial guidelines related to food safety and safe workplace environments Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience with a general understanding of cooking and cleaning fundamentals and practices 1–5 years of team leadership experience Interest in coaching and developing others Strong understanding of food safety and public health practices Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask Ability to communicate effectively, respectfully and work well in a team‑based setting Comfort standing for extended periods Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends as business demands Commitment of at least 5 days per week and 30–40 hours per week Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Work permit required NY Food Handlers Certificate required Compensation $24.00 /hour, paid time off for full‑time staff, substantial discount on Impact Kitchen products, and flexible scheduling to accommodate a healthy balanced lifestyle. Team & Department The Culinary Experience Team Leads make an impact every day through back‑of‑house operations and support the leadership of a large portion of our total team population. The role reports to the Culinary Experience Management team including the Assistant Culinary Experience Manager, Culinary Experience Manager and General Manager of each restaurant.
