Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead

DatamanUSA has an exciting opportunity for an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead to work with one of our direct clients in Seattle WA.

Job Title: Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead
Duration: 12 Months (with possible extension)
Location: Seattle WA 98121 (Hybrid)
Note: This is a hybrid work opportunity. Though a large portion of the work will be done remotely.

Mandatory & Desirable Knowledge and/or Skills

• Extensive experience leading organizational change management efforts for large, complex technology modernization or replacement projects within operational, safety-critical, or public-sector environments.
• Proven expertise developing and executing comprehensive OCM strategies including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, training development, readiness assessments, and post-go-live support frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to work across diverse business units—including operations, IT, finance, procurement, and executive leadership—to drive alignment, resolve barriers, and ensure successful adoption of new systems and business processes.
• Strong experience applying change management methodologies such as Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent frameworks within enterprise transformation programs.
• Clear, concise, and effective communication, facilitation, consultation, negotiation, and executive-level reporting skills.
• Proven ability to assess organizational impacts, identify resistance risks, develop mitigation plans, and support leaders in championing change across large, distributed workforce populations.
• Experience coordinating OCM activities with system integrators, technical teams, and vendors involved in configuration, testing, training, and implementation of enterprise technology solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent change-related workstreams in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
• Demonstrated proficiency with modern collaboration and lifecycle management tools such as Azure DevOps, SharePoint, or equivalent enterprise systems.

Desirable:

• Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP), Project Management (e.g., PMP), Agile (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe), or related disciplines.
• Experience working with statewide oversight organizations, particularly regarding gated reviews, IT investment approvals, or legislative funding oversight.
• Background supporting transportation, maritime operations, dispatch, terminal operations, or complex scheduling environments.
• Familiarity with large-scale operational readiness planning, end-user training delivery, and change network governance for multi-system transformation programs.
• Experience applying human-centered design, workforce adoption analytics, or behavioral-based change practices to improve adoption outcomes.
