Supply Chain Analyst

Salary: $75k but flexible
Duration: Full time
Client: Olympic Steel
Shift time:8am to 5pm
This position is responsible for creating consistency between supply and demand to meet customer needs.
- Develops relationships with vendors and collaborate with internal sales teams to resolve any customer or supplier issues
- Develops different reporting methods and structures
- Conducts research on market conditions and helps advise divisions on purchasing and any upcoming supply challenges
- Analyzes data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency
- Works on business projects and support new and existing business to enhance supply chain operations
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or other related field
- Previous steel experience strongly preferred
- experience with domestic and international suppliers
- experience working with multiple vendors and new vendors
- 4+ year of Supply chain experience in a manufacturing setting, including ERP systems
