Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity – Albany & Troy, NY Quick Screening Snapshot \n

• Location: Albany & Troy, New York

• Position Type: Full-time, employed cardiologist

• Schedule Options: \n
  \n
  • Weekend rounding only (Fri–Sun, 12 PM – 12 AM)
  \n
  • Traditional hospital/clinic role (40-hour week, 1:5 call, outpatient clinics 2–3x/month)
  \n
  • Hospital-only shift-based role (7-on/7-off, 7 AM – 7 PM, team coverage by day, solo evenings)
  \n
\n
• Call: 1:5 weekend rotation; telephone support overnight; occasional in-person coverage
\n
• Clinic Volume: Average 20–25 patients per 8-hour clinic day
\n
• Hospital Rounds: Team responsible for 50–60 patients daily
\n

Licensure & Credentialing Requirements \n

\n
• Board Certification: Internal Medicine required at start
\n
• Board Eligible: Truly BE accepted
\n
• New Hires: Must obtain Board Certification within 2 years
\n
• State License: New York
\n
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA
\n

• Open to 2026 new graduates

• Not accepting locums candidates

• Not open to visa sponsorship

• 1099 candidates considered

• No lapsed Board Certification accepted
\n
• Not clearing names for 2027 fellows at this time

Clinical Role Overview \n

\n
• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology care
\n
• Participate in hospital rounding and outpatient clinics (as per chosen schedule)
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiology team across multiple hospitals
\n
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation
\n
• Maintain compliance with all credentialing and institutional policies
\n

Shift & Call Details \n
