Maintenance Technician

You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. Responsibilities: • Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced • Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed • Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks • Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs • Manage other maintenance requests as required Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance proceduresWork in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasksCreate an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department headsObserve all engineering safety rules and criteria, and have knowledge of computer software Qualifications: • Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures • Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends • Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems • Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills • Over 2 years of maintenance experience A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required Compensation: $16 - $20 hourly
