Job Description
Benchmark Connector Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Expeditor to support our sales, purchasing, production, and customer service teams. The Expeditor will be responsible for monitoring open orders, following up with suppliers and customers, tracking delivery commitments, and ensuring timely communication throughout the order fulfillment process.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction by helping ensure orders are delivered on time and any delays are communicated promptly.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor open sales orders and purchase orders.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order status and delivery commitments.
- Communicate lead time updates to internal departments and customers.
- Track late orders and work with suppliers to improve delivery performance.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP and company systems.
- Assist with order prioritization and expedite requests.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
