Senior Account Manager
The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with existing enterprise-level customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities for Forward Air. They will serve as the main point of contact for their assigned enterprise-level accounts, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in enterprise-level account management and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage and grow existing enterprise-level customer relationships, serving as the main point of contact for their transportation needs
- Identify and develop new business opportunities at the enterprise-level through research, prospecting, and outbound calling
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and customer interactions in the company's CRM system (Salesforce)
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Continuously improve product and industry knowledge to stay up-to-date on market trends and competition
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level account management, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing enterprise-level accounts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
Skills:
- The ideal candidate will possess a "can do" attitude with a "will do" work ethic
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced/high volume sales environment
