Real Estate Attorney

Boston and NY Overview We are seeking a talented Land Use & Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our growing real estate practice. The ideal candidate will have experience advising clients on complex land use, zoning, entitlement, and development matters, along with broader commercial real estate experience. This role will focus on representing developers, property owners, investors, and businesses in navigating the regulatory and transactional challenges associated with real estate development, redevelopment, and land use approvals. Responsibilities Advise clients on land use, zoning, permitting, entitlement, and development matters Represent clients before municipal agencies, planning boards, zoning boards, and other regulatory bodies Manage zoning analyses, variance applications, special permits, and development approvals Assist with real estate development projects from initial planning through completion Conduct due diligence involving zoning, title, survey, environmental, and regulatory issues Support acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and joint venture transactions involving real estate assets Analyze and advise clients on land use restrictions, environmental considerations, and development opportunities Draft and negotiate real estate agreements, development documents, and related transactional materials Work closely with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and government agencies to achieve project objectives Qualifications Experience in land use, zoning, and real estate development matters Strong understanding of municipal approval processes and regulatory frameworks Experience handling some or all of the following: Zoning and entitlement matters Land use approvals and permitting Real estate acquisitions and dispositions Commercial leasing Joint ventures and development agreements Title, survey, environmental, and due diligence review Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills Ability to manage complex projects and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong client service skills and practical business judgment Outstanding academic credentials and professional record Active bar admission required Compensation Salary Range: $220,000 – $275,000 This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on sophisticated real estate development and land use matters while advising clients on some of the most complex aspects of property development, entitlement, and investment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
