Senior Accountant

Position Title: Senior Accountant. Wage: Based on Experience. Our Manitowoc manufacturing client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This key role will support the Controller by overseeing general ledger activities, managing month-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls. This is a full-time, direct hire onsite role. Senior Accountant Responsibilities: Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliations Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records Lead month-end close activities, including consolidations and financial reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end profit and loss, balance sheet, and financial analyses Analyze operating and financial results and prepare reports Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts Ensure compliance with revenue recognition requirements and manage deferred revenue accounts Coordinate and support audit activities Establish, maintain, and improve internal controls and accounting processes Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve efficiency, and support special projects as assigned Requirements for Senior Accountant: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of progressive accountant experience Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations Proficiency with Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines Why Apply: Direct-hire opportunity with a growing global organization High-impact role with visibility to finance leadership Opportunity to contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency Collaborative team environment with professional growth potential Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package #J-18808-Ljbffr Monroechamber
