The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Center in Bradenton, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians, using comprehensive assessment techniques to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and manage effective therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patient functional outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care delivery and optimal patient results.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers about their conditions and the therapeutic process.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely to reflect treatment effectiveness and compliance with physician's directives.
• Engage in continuous learning through evidence-based practice, attending professional development workshops and utilizing the latest research in treatment methods.
• Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that each patient feels valued and respected throughout their journey with us.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population including those with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric cases, and sports-related injuries. Our focus is on holistic recovery, which involves not only treating the physical aspects of injuries but also enhancing overall well-being and resilience through patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited provider.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage patients and families.
• Proficiency in word processing and using electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is highly desirable.
• Two years of relevant clinical experience in diverse rehabilitation settings.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience with patient relational skills and community engagement.
