Position Overview The Investment Advisor will serve as a trusted partner to Sovereign Family Office clients, providing comprehensive investment advice, portfolio design, and ongoing monitoring tailored to each family’s wealth goals. This role requires strong technical knowledge across traditional and alternative investments, exceptional communication skills, and a client-first mindset. The ideal candidate will thrive at the intersection of investment strategy and relationship management—helping clients understand opportunities, risks, and trade-offs, while collaborating internally to deliver holistic wealth solutions. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning s Tax Strategy Integration Create holistic financial plans that combine asset allocation and cash flow modeling with tax-smart strategies to meet client needs and identify opportunities. Align investment structures (taxable accounts, trusts, retirement accounts, etc.) with long‑term wealth transfer and philanthropic goals. Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure strategies such as charitable giving, Roth conversions, capital‑gains harvesting, and cost‑segregation align with client objectives. Identify and close planning “gaps” by proactively integrating investments, liquidity, and tax considerations. Serve as primary or supporting advisor for designated client families. Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with each family’s financial plan, risk tolerance, and legacy objectives; alongside our OCIO. Collaboration s Execution Partner with internal tax, planning, and client service teams to deliver integrated solutions. Coordinate with external managers, custodians, and service providers. Contribute to internal investment committee discussions, asset allocation frameworks, and manager due diligence. Translate complex investment and planning concepts into clear, actionable insights. Lead client meetings, presentations, and family education sessions as needed. Build trust through consistent, proactive communication. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field (MBA, CFA, or CAIA preferred). 5+ years of experience in investment advisory, asset management, or family office/wealth management environment. Strong analytical skills, with experience evaluating both traditional and alternative asset classes. Proven ability to build and maintain high-trust client relationships.
