Solution ArchitectThe Solution Architect is responsible for defining and maintaining the structure of the solution and ensuring it will meet all the requirements of the business requirement.Required Skills:Technical lead / solution design experience including documentation of designs and evaluation of designsPast experience with Blue Yonder / SCPO modules and technologiesIntegration technologies such as messaging (mulesoft), APIs, Kafka, data replication and / or secure file transferPreferred Skills:ETL technologyCloud based technologies & frameworks; cloud based data warehouses tools (e.g. Snowflake)Strong database tools familiarityExperience:5 – 10+ years experience in software related positions5+ years in a technical lead or solution design roleIdeally, 5+ years with implementation, integration & configuration of BY SCPO modules.Detailed understanding of the technology stack and database structureIntegration design experience across multiple platforms (legacy, ERP, planning tools)Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Help the development team work together to jointly own the solution.Provide supervision and guidance to the development team.Is viewed as the subject matter expert in one or more applications or platforms.Drives use of US Foods best practices across area.Responsible for the creation of high-level designs, detail level designs, maintaining product roadmaps.Works across solutions requiring integration across multiple platforms and/or business areas.Develop testing approach and build test cases to test core business functionality.Defines and explains the impact of requirements on system components across multiple functional areas.Apply knowledge from outside US Foods to improve US Foods practices.Develop Technical Design Document.Documents system functionality.Verifies Work EstimatesQualifications:Extensive mainframe experienceMinimum 10 years’ experience in general ITMinimum 10 years’ experience with developing mainframe integration solutionsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Understanding of Legacy Systems best practicesProven ability to analyze and understand existing processes and codeUnderstand the needs of the organization and find solutions to help move the organization forward.Excellent planning and organizational skillsExposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environmentsStrong knowledge of retail industry trends, challenges, and best practicesExceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, influence, and negotiationProficiency in:Integration work and Data manipulation in SnowflakeData Integration from Tandem to External systems
