This role is a valuable opportunity for a dedicated School Social Worker to serve a diverse K-12 population through both general and special education programs, while fostering strong partnerships among staff, families, and administrators.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Valid Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker
• Experience working with K-12 students within a school setting
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and intervention expertise
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Capacity to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored social-emotional support and implement behavior intervention strategies
• Serve as 504 Plan Coordinator, managing plans and accommodations for students
• Work directly with both general and special education students, ensuring all receive necessary services
• Partner closely with educators, staff, and families to address students’ needs and foster a supportive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
• Advocate for student well-being while adhering to ethical and professional standards
