Key Qualifications:

• Valid or pending Occupational Therapist license for Michigan
• Experience in school-based OT services preferred—including IEP development, evaluations, and direct therapy sessions
• Background in OT for schools, home health, or general healthcare is a plus
• Ability to collaborate with an educational team and adapt strategies for diverse learning needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy to students with varying abilities, both in individual and group formats
• Participate in assessment, evaluation, and creation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Document student progress and work collaboratively with special education staff, teachers, and family members
• Support the development of functional skills for school participation, self-care, and classroom engagement
• Provide insights and recommendations for adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations
