Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required
• Hold a current state license to practice occupational therapy
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of 30-40 students independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff
• Must be able to travel between multiple school locations (itinerant schedule)
• Please note: COTA candidates will not be considered, as school cannot provide required supervision

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address student needs
• Implement therapy sessions tailored to students’ IEP goals and educational requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to create inclusive learning environments
• Document evaluations, progress, and session notes according to school and district guidelines
• Provide training and resources to school personnel to support students’ occupational performance
• Foster students’ independence and participation in school routines
