Step into a rewarding role supporting high school students through specialized occupational therapy services on a flexible contract basis. Located conveniently near Detroit, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working a manageable schedule. You'll enjoy consistent part-time hours—just 10 hours per week—serving a close-knit group of four schools, all within an easy ten-minute drive of each other. This assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, providing the perfect balance of professional experience and flexibility.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid licensure or credentials in Occupational Therapy
• Prior experience working with school-age populations, preferably high school students
• Strong skills in assessment, goal-setting, and the delivery of therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and school staff
• Adaptability as caseload and student needs may evolve

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately eight high school students (subject to change) during school hours from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
• Travel between four schools in proximity, ensuring seamless continuity of care
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans to help students achieve educational goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student participation and success in the school setting
