Role Summary The Industrial Recruiter – Upstate New York is a full-desk, 360 recruiting role focused on placing candidates and managing accounts across the Capital Region, Central New York, and Western New York. This role is not a sit‑back-and‑wait position. You will launch, scale, and pivot hiring programs for high-volume industrial accounts across Upstate's strongest manufacturing and distribution corridors. Think of yourself as a recruiting entrepreneur embedded inside ETS. You will own entire account partnerships, leverage AI and digital tools to recruit at scale, and move with the speed and agility that our Upstate clients demand. Deep regional knowledge and on‑the‑ground relationships are your edge. What You’ll Do Regional Recruiting & Placement Source, screen, and place high-volume manufacturing and industrial talent (production operators, machinists, assemblers, warehouse workers, skilled trades) across the Capital Region, CNY, and WNY. Launch new hiring programs for regional accounts fast—ramp up, hit targets, and be ready to pivot to the next account or geography without missing a beat. Build deep, market-specific candidate pipelines leveraging AI sourcing tools, job boards, social media, cold/warm outreach, and creative campaigns tailored to Upstate labor markets. Manage candidates through the full talent lifecycle: outreach → screening → interview prep → placement → retention check‑ins. Negotiate pay rates, close placements, overcome objections, and resolve issues with speed and precision. Account Management Own and manage client relationships with exceptional communication—site visits, video calls, phone, email—whatever it takes to deliver a premium client experience across Upstate New York. Proactively evaluate client needs using data and market feedback. Anticipate shifts before they happen and adjust recruiting strategies accordingly. Present client-ready candidates directly to hiring managers and ETS account leadership with compelling, well-prepared submittals. Serve as the single point of accountability for your assigned Upstate accounts. You’ll own the result, period. Agility & Entrepreneurship Be dynamic. You’ll work across different cities, industries, and hiring volumes—sometimes all in the same week. The ability to context‑switch and stay organized is non‑negotiable. Launch select account partnerships across Upstate with an entrepreneurial mindset—treat every new account like a startup you’re building from scratch. Travel to client sites across the Capital Region, CNY, and WNY to strengthen relationships and deepen your understanding of their operations. Master ETS's tech stack: Bullhorn CRM, AI platforms, communication tools, Google Workspace, and any new tool we throw your way. Metrics & Performance Hit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for outreach volume, screenings, submittals, placements, revenue, and quality KPIs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. New grads encouraged to apply! 1‑2+ years in a sales‑driven environment is preferred but raw talent and drive matter more than a long resume. Strong communication and relationship management skills are required. Demonstrated ability to use AI tools and social media as part of a recruiting or sales strategy. Must be comfortable working independently and managing your own time and pipeline. Must be willing to travel regularly across the Capital Region, Central New York, and Western New York. Compensation First‑Year On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $75,000 - $110,000+ (base salary $50‑60K + aggressive commission structure; no ceiling).
