Perioperative Educational Program Coordinator

About This Role The Perioperative Educational Program Coordinator at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational activities for clinical and support caregivers. This role is ideal for those looking to share their expertise while fostering professional development in a supportive environment. Highlights Pay: $69,600 - $106,132.50 annually Location: Cleveland, OH Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You’ll Do Plan and implement orientation for new hires. Assist education caregivers in assigning unit preceptors. Assist in interviewing new caregivers. Complete probationary performance evaluations for new hires. Participate in annual evaluations with unit managers. Coordinate continuing education and training programs. Assist in coordinating programs with local colleges and universities. Perform patient care up to 20% of work time in area of clinical expertise. Actively assist management with ensuring caregiver compliance with regulatory requirements. Requirements Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Master’s Degree preferred Experience: 2 years of perioperative experience, specifically in circulating/OR setting Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months if performing moderate/procedural sedation About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
