Development | Ground-Up Construction 

Position Summary  

We are seeking a highly motivated, technically proficient Project Manager with a minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction management, or real estate development, including ground-up construction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong architectural or engineering background, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to independently coordinate consultants, contractors, and project deliverables from design through construction completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Coordination: Manage architectural and engineering (A&E) teams, review drawings and specifications, coordinate design deliverables, and resolve technical issues.
• Preconstruction & Procurement: Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluate bids, coordinate consultants and vendors, and assist with budgets and schedules.
• DOB Permitting: Coordinate NYC DOB filings, permits, approvals, and expediting with consultants and regulatory agencies.
• Construction Administration: Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, product specifications, document control, and outstanding action items.
• Project Oversight: Coordinate contractors and consultants, monitor construction schedules, attend progress meetings, review change orders, and prepare project status reports.

Required Qualifications  

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including exposure to ground-up residential, mixed-use, or high-rise construction.
• Graduate degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, A&E coordination, NYC DOB permitting, and construction administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Bluebeam Revu, and Procore.
