As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Oakland, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving officer in a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-value locations, verify credentials and/or access authorization, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
