What You'll Do:
- Provide inpatient hematology and oncology care for all ages
- Support hematology-focused inpatient services, including benign and malignant cases
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including APPs and physicians
- Participate in patient assessments, medical management, and care planning
- Support the growth of the hospital's bone marrow transplant program
- Maintain documentation within EPIC EMR system
- Support staff and patients with compassionate, high-quality care
What You Need:
- Active MN license (required)
- Board Certification as PA or APP in Hematology/Oncology
- Experience with hematology patients, benign/malignant (required)
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical skills in inpatient hematology/oncology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
About the Assignment: This assignment is at a reputable hospital in Minneapolis, with a total capacity of 686 beds. The hematology/oncology inpatient team is expanding, and you will play a key role supporting both benign and malignant hematology cases. The facility uses EPIC EMR, with a focus on delivering excellent patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Support staff includes additional APPs on the inpatient side to ensure quality care for all patients.
