Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of two years operating room experience License: RN License (NY state license only) Certifications: - BLS Certification (American Heart Association only) - ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: - Ability to scrub and circulate - Experience with cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics Description: This position requires the care of patients of all ages in both scrub and circulating roles for the operating room. A multidisciplinary approach is essential to providing patient care. Candidates must be able to scrub and circulate effectively. Experience with ophthalmology procedures is required, specifically in cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics. A minimum of two years of operating room experience is mandatory, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a level 1 trauma hospital. Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association is required, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is preferred.
