About the Position

Job Title: Vascular Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 9 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Preferred 2-3 years in Vascular License: New York License required in hand Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required Must-Have: Must have vascular procedure experience. Must be able to independently perform endovascular cases without assistance from a cath lab team. Description: This position is for a Vascular Operating Room Nurse. The role involves caring for patients undergoing vascular procedures. Responsibilities include assisting in endovascular surgeries and maintaining patient safety. A patient ratio of 1:1 is expected. Travelers are accepted for this position. Experience with EPIC charting is required. Candidates should have previous charge experience. Preferred experience includes trauma Level I or II. On-call duties include one weekday and one weekend call per month. The nurse will be required to handle various vascular surgery procedures. Required skills include administration of blood products, arteriovenous malformation surgery, and infection control. All candidates must meet the specific requirements outlined above.
