Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology

Schedule

4x10 hour shifts; 40 hours per week; weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 15 weeks; guaranteed hours: 40 hours/week.

Requirements

• New York State RN License
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• Telemetry experience
• 1 year of recent experience in interventional radiology

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure safety.
• Assist in the post-procedure recovery process, including PACU and extended stay.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
• Participate in the critical embolization response team for trauma patients.
• Maintain strong communication skills and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.
